Provo River Cleanup

Provo River Cleanup, April 30, 2005
The most heavily fished stretch of river in Utah will receive a thorough cleaning by volunteers on April 30.
Those who would like to help are encouraged to assemble at Vivian Park in Provo Canyon at 8 a.m. The park is located about halfway up the canyon, between the mouth of the canyon and Deer Creek Reservoir. “We will have a map of the river available that breaks it down into clean-up sections,” says Ed Kent, one of the clean-up organizers. “Each section of the river will be assigned to a group. Fly fishing picks up on the Provo River

February brought with it some nice sunny days and IGS was able to get several clients out on the water this month. The fishing reported was excellent with some nice Rainbows being caught, and even a few cutthroats. (more…)
