Get out of the city heat and come visit IGS and Snowbird for Utah’s priemer German celebration Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest is the perfect companion to a Utah adventure. The weather at Snowbird could not be better, the high today will be a balmy 65 and all our trails here at Snowbird are in great shape.
Oktoberfest starts August 27th and runs every weekend through October 9th offering free live music, German Food, Beer, and Vendors. (more…)

Fly fishing on the Provo River this Spring

Fly fishing on the Provo River has been different this spring. Jordanelle and Deer Creek reservoirs are full and river flows have been higher than they have been sicne 1983. Thankfully IGS has experienced guides that have seen this before and know how to conduct safe and successful fly fishing trips even with the higher flows. Come enjoy the gorgeous surroundings of Provo Canyon and the Wasatch mountains while you land a big rainbow, cutthroat or Brown trout.
